Orange Pancakes with Orange Syrup

I just have to post this because my paper with the recipe on it is going to fall apart since I use it so much.

2 cups flour
2 T sugar
2 T baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
------------------
1 cup milk
3/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup oil
2 eggs
2-3 drops orange oil/extract

Combine the dry ingredients, then mix with the wet.  Cook on a griddle for a few minutes each side.


Orange Syrup

1/2 cup butter
juice of 1 orange
1 cup sugar
2-3 drops orange oil/extract

Boil the first 3 ingredients in a sauce pan.  Bring off the heat and add the orange oil.

(I like to mix 2 T cornstarch with the sugar before boiling so the syrup is thicker.)
